mama health is a real-world evidence platform - using AI and process mining technology to systematically map the end-to-end journey of chronic patients. Today, no physician, researcher, pharmaceutical company or government can accurately monitor what happens to patients along their care path. They rely on theoretical protocols (what should happen) but they do not have tools to monitor the reality (what actually happens). We bridge this gap, providing a clear view into the actual journey of chronic patients and ultimately improve their lives.

Your profile

Job Description:
As a Software Engineer at Mama Health, you will be integral in building robust data pipelines on AWS and creating intuitive dashboards using React. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to systematically map patient journeys and provide real insights to improve healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable data pipelines on AWS, leveraging services like AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, and Redshift.
Build and maintain interactive and responsive Web Apps using React to house our patient journey dashboards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensure effective data processing.
Implement and uphold data security standards.
Optimize the performance of data pipelines and visualization tools.
Stay abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies in data engineering and visualization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience as a Software Engineer
Strong programming skills in TypeScript & Python
Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases
Proficiency with REST and GraphQL APIs
Nice to have: experience with Machine Learning Frameworks like Scikit-Learn and PyTorch. This would be beneficial in integrating machine learning models into your data pipelines and applications.

Work environment and benefits:
We offer flexible choice of working hours and flexible choice of location. All full-time team members should be at our HQ in Berlin around 60% of the week. For those applying in Italy, it's 100% remote with the availability to visit the Berlin office when needed.
